Parents should know what their children are doing

Parents should keep check and balance on their children in every matter until they're married. It's included as a responsibility for a parent to guide and monitor his/her children. Excessive internet use is destroying young minds but still parents don't care. Unfortunately my social media circle just revolves around youth too, hence I can't convey them this message. I believe that even I should have not been allowed to use internet freely. No one should be given the liberty (that some people call privacy) to practice things in free-space, unless they're totally independent and married. Maybe one day people will think about it, now they're busy into expanding businesses and providing their children with a better future. Internet and liberty have ruined me too in many ways, hence I want no one else to face things alike me. May Allah help us all. Ameen.
