Life of a Muslim is very difficult. Know that Islam is not as hard as people around us are. When we are doing the wrong, nobody cares to correct us or become attentive towards our wrongdoings. But when we start becoming better and do good things, people start criticizing our past and present instead of admiring our efforts or intentions.
For them, it is not normal to be a good Muslim or human. If you do not adapt foul language, they will make you feel extremely bad for it. If you do not enjoy unethical jokes, you will be cornered by everyone. This is how they deal with us. And after these events, it's spontaneous and impulsive for any of us to get deluded or to become rigid.
Many extremists come into play because of this reason. They see so many wrong things occurring, they try to stop it, and eventually they become so upset that they get detracted. There are many Muslims around us who are very strict, but once they were normal too. Society snatched away their innocence, so they put a lock on themselves and sealed every corner; to stop influential air from reaching in.
It is also important to know that in order to be a good Muslim with firm beliefs, we need knowledge and experience. You must have sufficient knowledge to battle inside and outside against criticism. It often happens that when someone argues with us, we defend ourselves from the outside, but from the inside; we get affected. Our mental peace gets disturbed by their sayings. So, basic knowledge is crucial.
There are many people who know a lot about religions and especially Islam, but even after having such a blessing, they don't follow Islam properly. Allah has said often in Quran that we shouldn't get impressed by someone's wealth or skills, these things should not make us feel inferior. Allah can bless anyone with anything. Many people talk about God and His power, but at the same time, they enjoy immoral chat and conversations with others. At that point we can say that Iblees won and they lost.
Never forget what our base is! We are destined to rule and preach. We are blessed and bestowed with the basic nature of a human: care, love, loyalty, wisdom, maturity and what not. We have to feel neither superior nor inferior. Very few Muslims are alive today.
There are many who call themselves a Muslim, but they don't follow Islam completely. Maybe they are still unable to win the fight against their ego. Maybe they have given up or made a compromise at some point. Whatever the reason may be, they don't represent the real picture of a Muslim. The reality of a Muslim's life is totally by Quran and Sunnah. Muslims do not ignore others. They cannot be ruled by the oppressors. There can be no beggars around Muslims. In a Muslim world, injustice doesn't go unanswered.
In reality, today Muslims have become strangers of this world, people take them in the sense of aliens. They have become rare; almost non-existing. They are put under pressure because they try to represent humanity and care. They are dealt with extreme exercises, because everyone is jealous of their natural hold and power to promote quality of life.
Let’s recall the sacrifices that our ancestors made for us. Let’s remember the martyrs of wars. At least they all died with dignity. At least they stood up against immorality and injustice unlike us; we just mixed up and forgot what our real values are. We let evil and coward forces to rule and command us. We let them shape our lives and hurt our Muslim fellows.
Our life is just for us and that is why it is a total waste. Our sisters in Islam, let’s remind ourselves of their sorrows and pain. Many of them couldn’t live, because we, as their brothers, were busy in enjoyment. They were killed and raped. They had to endure all that because of our laziness. There are still many of our sisters in other countries, they are being raped! They commit suicide, because yes, we don’t care.
The truth is that we don’t deserve this life and not even a good end on the day of resurrection. We are dead from the inside, our hearts are dead. A real Muslim would always fight for his woman, and while doing that, his life would be of no value to him as compared to the dignity of his woman. A real Muslim’s blood boils when he sees wrong!
Being a Muslim is not a crime, it is a blessing. But evil world wants us to suffer, so should we? You are weak today because your faith is weak. You divided yourselves. You forgot about following the commandments of God. When you stop obeying God, nature stops obeying your power to rule. You become empty, you are strong only when Allah is with you. It is not only you who suffer for your mischiefs and ignorance; nations suffer for that!
Each one of us play a part to create this society. The world and the entire universe is made by Allah, but He gave us the permission to plant things. It is upto us if we do well or unwell. Because of our ancestors’ faults; we are suffering. And because of our faults; our next generations will have to suffer. We must prepare a soft ground for them. We must work hard to provide them a good and safe environment.
We live and die of course, so why not live the life of a good human. We have to leave a good structure before our departure; for others. Our prayers go unanswered because we are not being full time Muslims, we are hence treated like others, at least partially. Our actions determine our strength and capability. We are nothing without God’s promise!
