Listen and understand very carefully. Nobody cares if you study or not, nobody cares if you do something for your future or not, nobody cares if you are happy or not, nobody cares if you earn something for yourself or not, nobody cares if you are in trouble or not. As long as you will keep them happy and be available for them, they will be satisfied. They don't care if you keep doing something for them and not for yourself. When you'll stop living for them but for yourself, you'll start seeing their angry faces. Everyone wants to shake hands with a rich and happy man, but as soon as he falls, they won't care to help him in any way possible, they will pretend like they never knew him.
This is how the world thinks, this is what's going to be, sooner or later we all are going to experience it, this is a mean world we live in, hence we all must keep our expectations on the line and never disappoint ourselves by their behavior. It's upto us if we want to be one of them, or want to be better than them. It's upto us. But understand that working on yourself and building a future is very important, no one is going to help you, you will have to help yourself always. There's a mean face of everyone. Don't expect goodness from others. You must prepare yourself for the worst.
