Can you marry someone who's elder than you?

We people care too much about age, but in reality it doesn't matter if the person you want to marry is elder or younger than you. We all do know that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) married Hazrat Khadija (RAW) at the age of 25 when she was of 40 and also got married 2 times before that and was having kids as well from the former husbands (God knows the best indeed, all I'm saying is what I've heard, may Allah forgive me if I say something wrong that I don't have knowledge about). There was a total of 15 years difference between them, but we all know how love did the Prophet give to her till her last breath, this is true love neglecting age or anything that could conflict.
People nowadays, specially women do not want to marry someone younger than them because they feel insult in that, but it's just your own thinking, you're allowed to marry someone younger or elder than you but yes everything got a limit, the person should be an adult to marry and with standard Islamic laws. This is something I wanted to share so badly, it's my duty to talk about the right whether people feel hesitation in thinking about that, the society needs to know what's allowed and what's forbidden. May Allah help us all living a good and faithful life (ameen).
