Is getting married young a good idea?

If you can survive then yes. If your family supports you financially then you should marry. If you both earn, if you have a commitment of sharing responsibilities, then you should marry. I actually prefer young marriages between the age of 16-21, because it forbids a person from sinning. I know a sinner will still sin, but the burden of responsibilities makes a person go straight and not walk on the steps which aren't a part of his/her destiny.

Day by day many elements like of education have made early marriages difficult. Also the expenses of marriage, the society's expectations etc are making it more difficult for a halal Nikkah to happen, thus people are into haram relationships now. If you think that a person isn't mature at the age of 18 then still get them Nikkafied and don't separate them for now. Because when someone will have a thought that he/she is taken then he/she won't indulge into stuff like of gf/bf.

This is the age where we need training the most. We should be trained to survive the fact that love will happen and we should wait, I see so desperation these days to fall in love and have a good spouse. These should've not been the thoughts of youth today. It's so unfortunate that we're not being polished well, our parents have put everything on their children to learn without any guidance. This is where we need Quran the most. You may think that Quran is an old book but it's not, it's so modern than you could ever be. Seek it's light, seek it now!

There are many advantages of getting married at the right age. If a person has to marry at the age of 30, then there are more chances of him falling into haram things to seek what he can't have till he gets of 30. Media and different programs are making our youth so desperate to marry and fall in love, you all know what I'm talking about. So the solution is there, but it's getting rare. May Allah guide us all, especially me, we all sin, we all are bad from one way or another. May Allah help us all.
