What is a Nasheed? Nasheed genre? Nasheed Artists?
Nasheed is a music genre, it's not so famous in Pakistan and related countries but it is well known in Muslim countries and societies like Indonesia, Bahrain, Qatar, Malaysia. If you know about "Naat" and "Hamd" then actually Nasheed is the same thing, it's the mixture of Hamd and Naat. It's genre is so rare because its theme is mostly about neutral and religious things like freedom, God, family, wife, peace. If you ever try to listen a Nasheed song for once then you won't be able to stop listening to it unless you explore more. It makes you feel the real bad things that are happening to people all around the world.
Few international Nasheed artists are Maher Zain, Sami Yusuf, Ahmed Mac, Irfan Makki, Raef, Zain Bhikha, Saif Adam.
This genre is rare yet and it's artists aren't yet discovered globally, it's spreading day by day. It's genre affiliates soul, acoustic and R&B music. Most famous Nasheed and Islamic record label is Awakening Records. The Nasheed artists do play an important in raising charity with the affiliation of UN and other services, they tend to make this world a better place for all people whether they're Muslims or not. Their song's indicate the importance of love, peace and other important elements of life.
